CHRISTIANS in Denison, TX
You could say that following Christ is a journey, not a destination. As a Bible-believing Christian, my faith is very real to me. I have come to experience the power and blessing that comes with it. I appreciate the example of our Lord Jesus, who loved all people, even his enemies, which is not a natural thing for me to do. But, he was the Christ!
I also understand that life is not always easy. Sometimes, I'm more successful in my Christian walk than I am at others. As a result of my experiences and having the opportunity to work with others, I have learned not to judge others for the choices they’ve made or the experiences they’ve endured. If you want to include Biblical references as part of your therapy, the choice is yours. Just give my office a call.
A Couple Of Key Scriptures
John 8:32 - you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
My comment: I have learned that the truth of each person’s experience in life is not always as simple as it may seem. However, given time and commitment to therapy, most people can feel better and gain a new understanding of how they came to be in their situation.
Romans 7:21-25 English Standard Version (ESV)
21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.
22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being,
23 but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
My comment: It's good to know that The Apostle Paul and other apostles also struggled and found power in Christ!
Come in for a visit. Let's see if I'm the counselor you need. If I'm not I will make a referral to another provider if you like.
